BIO and SESSION WORK
Daniele Borgato is a Professional Bass/Double Bass Player.
He performs, records and collaborates with both original and cover acts, directed orchestras, artists and songwriters from all over the world.
​
His years of experience grant him a strong and solid presence on stage and studio situations. He can confidently play any music genre including (but not limited to) Rock, Funk, Soul, R&B, Disco, Pop, Jazz, and Musical Theatre, in both original and cover situations. Backing Vocals, strong sight reading skills and ability to quickly transcribe/learn from audio tracks have always added a great bonus to his skills on stage and in studio.
He plays Both 4 and 5 strings Bass Guitars and Electric Double bass with Bow

In the years he also experienced bass guitar tutoring from beginner to more advanced levels, with private lessons at home or locations.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music Performance with a Rockschool teaching licentiate, Daniele can confidently and professionally deal with every different task in the music field:

BIO
Daniele has his first encounter with music quite early, and soon at 11 years old he manages to enter the music school in his home city Varese, studying piano, vocals and solfege.
In the years he develops his classical musical skills and later on a growing interest on bass guitar. Within a few months he masters the instrument well enough to get in a band, and has the first live experiences in the local area.

By 2001 co-founds a new band called “Air to Brains”, a 70’s rock tribute band( later an originals band) and with them, and later also with “Just Married” hard rock band, walks a lot of stages including Milan city and province. he studies privately first with Gianmaria Ferrario and later with Francesco Marchese until 2012, when he moves to London to pursue a Bachelor in Popular music Performance.
Here he graduates in a few years, and starts working in the Music Industry, touring small and big stages in London and UK with bands/artists such as DEAD WRITERS, PETE DONEGAN (The Voice), TOKYO TABOO, PLASTIC BARRICADES, MAIDA VALES, DAHLIA BLUE(New York, Paris), LIR SHILTON, DOLLY SPECTRA (L.A.), CROW FAMILY and many others.

In parallel he develops an interest in Musical Theatre in the years, bringing him to play in dozens of shows and learning to play Double Bass and Bow technique.
​
Daniele performed in places such as WEST END LIVE (Trafalgar Square) and the O2 (Indigo) with "Blues Brothers summer special" , ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL with the NYO directed by Marin Alsop performing Bernstein, THE OTHER PALACE Theatre with "Prom Queen", and many other theatres and stages around London.
